Day of fun!!!
Today, my dad and I took Braydon to Bounce U (indoor inflatable playground). Immediately Braydon was in awe of all the fun surrounding him, and though he was unsure of what all this stuff was, he knew it was going to be a blast:) He love, love, loved the slide, and played harder than I've ever seen before. I cannot wait to go back, and do so with Ty in tow.

Man, we have A LOT of crap....
Sooner or later we'll be moving, and the thought of packing ALL of our stuff has suddenly lit a fire under my butt to get in gear and start going through all of our crap. Honestly, we have stuff that has moved with us 3 times and never been used/opened/looked at... you get the picture.
I'm amazed by how much useless stuff we've accumulated and hung onto over the past handful of years - stuff we keep in case there comes a moment where we might want or need it. But at this point if it hasn't been used in, oh I don't know 8 years, I doubt there will ever be a time we'll need all this useless crap.
Don't get me wrong, I'm all for hanging onto keepsakes and whatnot, but I'm all about purging the crap we truly do not use or need. I've already made a dropoff at Goodwill today, have been gathering things to sell in a garage sale, and trying to imagine what we can/will sell on craigslist. As much as I don't like the idea of packing, moving, and unpacking again, at least I know I'm making the process a bit easier for my hubby, because let's face it, he's the one who'll be doing most of the heaving lifting and moving:)
It's a good thing I/we have plenty of time to go through this house and decide what stays and what goes:)

15 months and screaming tantrums???
Since this past weekend, Braydon has decided to vent his frustrations in the most hard-to-tolerate way. Since this *past weekend*, the MOMENT something doesn't go his way, he screams at the top of his lungs. In between his screams, he'll take a break and growl/cry. Our efforts of heading-off or subsiding these tantrums (redirecting, distracting, ignoring, comforting, etc.) are failing miserably.
Our baby book/s say this is "just a phase" and this difficult phase should last 5-6 months tops. I just can't believe how quickly this "phase" has devoured our sweet natured baby boy, and I hope it doesn't continue for the suggested time-span.
I/we understand Braydon doesn't have an emotional filter yet, and this is just a new way for a learning, growing, and discovering baby to express his emotions, but with that said, it ain't easy. He now fights bath and bedtime -- things he (until this past weekend) thoroughly enjoyed. So, for all you mommas out there, any advice for my darling hubby and me in regards to this newest phase?
