Feeding the giraffes:)

Because Bray and I are zoo members, we went back again today (w/my dad in tow) and this time we got to feed the giraffes. At first Braydon was completely excited about feeding the giraffes, but when the giraffe's 18 inch tongue darted out her mouth and twisted around the lettuce in his hand, he wanted nothing more to do with the feeding. We were both shocked by the tongue thing (as you can see in my facial expression), but it was still a memorable experience. I've never been so close to a giraffe and was totally enamoured by their big gorgeous brown eyes and thick eyelashes. Anyway, here are a few pictures from our giraffe experience:)

Congrats, Cameron and Jessica!

And welcome to parenthood!!! Our friends delivered their twins (via c-section) this morning and both babies (and mommy) are doing beautifully. Carson, the little boy came in at 7lbs and some change, and his sister Caprice (sp?) came in just under 5 lbs.

Cameron and Jess, I can't wait to meet your babies, give both of you the biggest hug, and love on those babies!

Jessica - wishing you a quick, pain-free, and smooth recovery!

Day at the zoo

This morning Braydon and I headed off for Phx Zoo, and immediately, we were immensely impressed with the zoo that has disappointed in the past. Anyway, we saw all the animals out and about and playing. Braydon was so excited to be there and he's at such a fun age where he's aware of EVERYTHING! Braydon's favorite part of the day was the super awesome splash pad and feeding the ducks his Cheerios. Anyway, here are the pictures from today:)
